Gotta admit, it felt quite odd but good in the demo telling the other chappie i thought he was a false prophet cos of '75!
Not so good was having to act like I accepted his specious reasoning...

every time he spoke of previous "expectations" his body language was like "oh my god, can you believe i'm saying this?

As mentioned, I'm only doing the demo, and only the householder at that.
I suspect the most I can get away with is not looking convinced by the reasoning given. But my beard gives me away anyway, I'm obviously not of the right heart condition..

by punkofnice in...i might drop in every now and then but i hope you all enjoy life, escape the watchtower(r) and live prosperous lives.. i can't say i contribute much here anyway (and i'm not attention seeking).. i'm just going to get on with life away from the constant reminder of the mistakes i made being a jw zombie drone.. i guess i'm just going to fade.......rather quickly.. of course i didn't need to make any posts here to disappear but i thought it'd be polite and very british to bid you all a fond farewell.. see you all sometime.....maybe.....maybe not.....maybe....... bye!.

Ok my bad, I'm convinced, brilliant location, im sold!
FAR superior to Elland Road. Concessions in which to buy refreshments, shops locally, city centre location, great hotels near. If I go to any more it won't be quite so horrible!

p.s.
i was cringing at the thought of sitting for 3 1/2 hours for the afternoon session but fortunately my one kid got sick!!

Role Reversal: Placing 1969 Awake with JW's Manning the New Portable Literature Displays
by snapdragon4 inin recent weeks the jw’s here in the uk have been setting up their new portable watchtower literature displays in my local town square on a saturday morning.
as they hadn’t knocked on my door for at least five years, and consequently feeling somewhat neglected, i thought that i would pay them a visit instead.. .
the first thing i needed to do was arrange my literature.

This is SO good, well done! I haven't manned one yet but I'd happily volunteer to if it meant there was a chance someone like you would come and help spread some cognitive dissonance with the wife! Can you come down to Yorkshire?!
Can we organise territory and have regular preaching to the cart occupiers? There must be plenty of us still in who could lead the locations locally....
It's a great way to get people thinking, and a LEGITIMATE way for us to talk to evil apostates! For people like me, mentally out, I'd love to be able to say to the missus "someone asked me on the ministry the other day..... (insert topic of choice)" to get her thinking and give me an excuse to do legitimate research, otherwise she'll just think I'm looking for negatives as she knows I'm a doubter..
I hope this is replicated far and wide, well done mister.

JW couple die 1 day apart after being married for 75 years!
